April has brought lots of great things to the Data Mesh Learning community. We’ve hosted roundtables designed to deliver practical information for anyone looking to accelerate their data mesh journey. We also launched an End-User Roundtable program for end-users only to come together to discuss Data Mesh. Interested in participating? Read on to learn more.
Looking forward, May is going to be a BIG month for the community. We are hosting our very first Data Mesh Day event on May 11. This inaugural event will focus on Data Mesh for Life Sciences, and we hope it’ll be the first of many industry-focused community events. We will also have new virtual meetups and roundtables with even more practical guidance. Read on to learn more about what to expect and how to sign up for Data Mesh Day and all our virtual meetups.
We hope to see you on the line for one (or all?!) of these events!
Data Mesh Days
The Data Mesh Learning community will host its very first Data Mesh Day event on May 11, 2023, 7-11am PT. The inaugural event will examine Data Mesh in the Life Sciences industry. Registration is open (and it’s free), so be sure to sign up. And stay tuned for the full lineup of speakers to drop in the next few days.
Data Mesh Days are where data leaders and practitioners gather to share best practices and use cases, forge critical relationships, and learn about advancements in data mesh. The intent of these events is to provide a vendor-neutral space for sharing and learning about data mesh. Each Data Mesh Day will focus on a different industry vertical and will showcase talks from end users and others in the industry who are implementing data mesh.
You can register and learn more about the event here.
End-User Roundtables
The first pair of end-user roundtables was a great success - people across the world joined for fruitful discussions and made new connections.
These are private, informal discussions about data mesh for end-users only (no vendors or consultants) facilitated by a Data Mesh Learning staff member. If you would like to join a future roundtable, fill out this form, and we’ll be in touch to schedule. This program will occur monthly, so add your details, and we’ll let you know of open slots for future dates.
